As anyone who knows me knows, I am a HUGE fan of the 1964/65 New York World's Fair. When the opportunity to create a wallpaper which paid homage to one of Disney's contributions to the Fair, I immediately jumped on it!
In addition to just celebrating the attraction's 50th anniversary, I wanted to include a few fun nods to the attractions storied past. If you look at the two WEDway Peoplemover cars in the image, you'll notice the I have included the years the attraction opened at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The 1964 on the attraction marquee is the year it opened at the World's Fair.
Since this wallpaper debuted, Disney has changed the artwork on the rotating building as well as the marquee... I *may* have to create a new version!
