As anyone who knows me knows, I am a HUGE fan of the 1964/65 New York World's Fair.  When the opportunity to create a wallpaper which paid homage to one of Disney's contributions to the Fair, I immediately jumped on it!

One of the Disney attractions which heavily inspire my work on an almost daily basis is "it's a small world".  The work Disney artist Mary Blair did to communicate an extremely complex message using the simplest of means, is both genius and beautiful.
Doing something like expressing a peaceful world without boundaries as seen through the eyes of a child was a monumental undertaking.  The fact that it was done in such a short period of time (concept to reality in less than 11 months for the 1964/65 New York World's Fair), is a feat in itself.

I chose to recreate the Disneyland facade, designed by Disney Legends Rolly Crump and Mary Blair, to celebrate the attraction's anniversary.  Disneyland's attraction features many set and character pieces which were original to the World's Fair installation.
