My greatest work of art to date for the Disney Parks Blog ended up not being released.

The assignment was to create a "witch themed" digital wallpaper for Halloween 2019.  My concept was that the Evil Queen from Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stopped by the Bibbidy Bobbidy BOO-tique to get a "frightfully fun makeover" from one of her "Scary Godmothers In Training".
Here, we see her post-transformation, surrounded by the various tools used by her sinister makeover professionals to achieve this look.  On the table, you'll find their bewitched tools of the trade, like:
A vial of potion to transform her into an old hag from her friend Yzma. A bottle of perfume ("Breath of the Dragon") from her friend Maleficent.  A change of voice from her friend Ursula.
Shadows cast on the wall behind the mirror suggest her Scary Godmothers In Training are standing behind her as she appreciates their handywork. The table she is sitting at is designed to resemble her famous magic mirror... and the accessory drawers resemble the box she gave to the hunter/woodsman to bring back Snow White's heart in.

While I am unsure of the reason why this wallpaper was never released, an artist-for-hire must always be prepared to have their work end up unused by the client if the direction of a project or promotion changes for any reason.
